AMIE Recognition Issue: Meeting of IEI delegation led by Er C Debnath, President, IEI with Prof T G Sitaram, Chairman, AICTE

 

A delegation led by Er C Debnath, President, IEI met with Prof T G Sitaram, Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on 29 Mar 2023 at AICTE Headquarters, New Delhi. 

 

Maj Gen MJS Syali, VSM (Retd), Secretary & Director General, IEI requested AICTE to resolve the issue of Section A & B Examinations as also to consider recognition to students who enrolled after 01.06.2013. 

 

Areas of cooperation between IEI & AICTE under NEP and skill development were also discussed.

Prof (Dr) T S Kamal, Chairman, AMIE Task Force also elucidated the fine points of recognition of Section A & B Examinations. Chairman AICTE agreed to examine areas of synergy between IEI & AICTE.
